Green food supplements, when taken regularly, will also help stave off cravings by contributing to your overall nourishment. Barley grass in particular quells cravings for sweets because it helps balance blood sugar. In fact, it is recommended by the American Diabetic Association for just this reason. |

A plant-source only diet is advocated by most every major world religious tradition, as illustrated in Food for the Gods by Rynn berry. This reality is also concisely stated in the chapter "Vegetarianism in the World's Religions" in my book Conscious Eating and in Spiritual Nutrition, two books containing arguably the best scientifically documented case for a life-long vegan diet of live foods. We have seen evidence that a processed diet is a diabetogenic diet, and the Culture of Death way of eating and living creates far more suffering and sickness worldwide than just diabetes. |

The word bilberry comes from the Danish word bolebar, which means "dark berry."
In the early twelfth century, women ate bilberry fruit to promote menstruation; by the sixteenth century, Europeans were employing it for a variety of conditions, including coughs and tuberculosis, liver disorders, and bladder stones. European herbalists praised the berries as an astringent, tonic, and antiseptic. The astringent properties also made bilberry fruit helpful against inflammations and infections of the mouth and gastrointestinal tract. |

Here's how I use it: I put in one heaping tablespoon of the strawberry kiwi flavor of Earth's Promise in a glass of water, and blend in a tablespoon of the berry Green. Essentially, I'm increasing the dosage of the superfood nutrients, and still getting the outstanding flavor of Earth's Promise, which has a sort of tangy, tart flavor. Earth's Promise uses some stevia, so there's some sweetness in there without using any refined sugars whatsoever. That combination -- wow, that's a great product! That will, by itself, give you so much good nutrition. |

Doctors are likely to respond to this new study by saying to patients: " Well, but just to be on the safe side, why don't we at least try one course of chemotherapy." They leave treatment decisions in the patient's hands, and these uncertain patients generally elect to undergo more aggressive treatment.
Here is how oncologists justify chemotherapy for breast cancer. Young women who receive chemotherapy gain on average about 5.4 months of life, compared to those who do not elect chemotherapy. |

V Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus). This berry has been recommended traditionally for almost every eye ailment, and glaucoma is no exception. It turns out that bilberries contain compounds called anthocyanosides that retard the breakdown of vitamin C. As a result, they help vitamin C do its job of protecting your eyes.
Joseph Pizzorno. N.D., president jp»of Bastyr University in Seattle, and Michael Murray, N.D., co-authors of A Textbook of Natural Medicine, both recommend taking bilberry and its relative, blueberry, as a preventive and treatment. |

It was found that frequent consumption of fresh juices, especially berry juices, and fermented milk products containing probiotics was associated with a decreased risk of recurring UTIs. Consuming fermented milk products three or more times per week was better than less than one time per week. In this same study, frequency of intercourse was associated with increased risk of UTI as well.
Common probiotic-containing fermented milk products include lactobacillus acidophilus and kefir. Increasing garlic and onions in the diet may also be helpful due to their antimicrobial activity. |

Available in Pink, berry, or Natural tone, each offers very soft, sheer color that requires several layers to really register as blush. The liquid texture is surprisingly easy to blend, and sets quickly to a soft matte finish. You may be wondering if this blush can really self-adjust to each individual's skin tone, and the simple answer is: it cannot. However, like any color cosmetic, the way it looks on your skin will be (to varying degrees) different from how the same shade looks on someone else's skin. |
